Ladies Rock Camp – Summer 2013

Ladies Rock Camp is an intensive, three-day music and mentoring program for adult women. Our summer 2013 session will take place July 12-14 at Funkadelic Studios in Manhattan.

Girls Rock! Camp 2013

Girls Rock! Camp is an intensive, six-day program for girls ages 8 – 18. Session 1 will take place at Blue School in Downtown Manhattan July 29-August 3; Session 2 will take place at Cathedral High School in Midtown East, Manhattan August 19-24.

Rock Camp Jumpstart 2013

Rock Camp Jumpstart is a new summer camp for girls aged 4 – 7. Based on the organization’s award-winning program for older kids, Rock Camp Jumpstart gives campers the opportunity to write their own music and experiment with sound and movement through a wide variety of fun activities.

Rock Camp Jumpstart 2013 will take place July 22 – 26 at Blue School in lower Manhattan.

Ladies Rock Camp 2.0

Ladies Rock Camp 2.0 is an intensive, three-day music and mentoring program for adult women with previous musical experience. LRC 2.0 is designed for graduates of Ladies Rock Camp, players with 2+ years experience, and seasoned musicians who are interested in a fresh approach and connecting with a new community. Willie Mae Music Lab is a year-round community music and mentoring center in the Clinton Hill/Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn. Music Lab provides a range of affordable programs and services for girls, young women, and trans youth aged 8 – 18. All classes are offered in small groups led by experienced teaching artists in a supportive, fun and positive environment.
