Our music lab is powered by technology. We prepare students for a tech-driven future by cultivating:
Tuition-free access to tech-based music education
Creative problem solving and skill-building through STEM learning
Powerful storytelling through songwriting and digital art production
Alumni Fellowship
Our Alumni Fellowship is open to women and gender-expansive alumni (ages 18-26) of Willie Mae’s youth programs. During the program, Alumni Fellows:
Work on a creative project with the help of professionals
Receive one-on-one mentorship and hands-on training
Have access to our Brooklyn Sound Lab and all our equipment/gear
Receive a stipend up to $10,000

SPRING DIGITAL MENTORSHIP
This afterschool program teaches students the fundamentals of producing electronic music using a range of instruments and creative technologies. Students learn skills such as: song development, making beats, building DIY instruments, live coding, and more! Throughout the program, they will learn from professionals, and develop their own song and video projects.
When: March 25-May 29; Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45 to 6:00 pm
